The City of LA and LA county continue to be locked down. Add to that I would imagine the City of LA is not exactly car friendly. Up hill battle for the CPW.
As a side note Phoenix Mopars Unlimited had a cruz-in last Saturday. Scheduled 9to noon. I was told car count was around 133, with around half being late model cars.

Being out of the loop, us NON CPW club members have no inside information as to what you are dealing with. It is almost like having a loved one in a hospital during this Covid BS....The only way we can stay informed is by someone on the inside since we can't be there to see it for ourselves. In 2006 your club moved from Woodley to the facility across the street when heavy rain left the city park grounds soaked. I'm guessing that you looked into that venue and it didn't pan out? Understood. No hard feelings. And I try to reply to these inquiries as soon as I can. ...the park we moved to across the street in 2006 was another LA City Park’s Dept park. All City and County facilities are closed with no reservations for opening dates. We looked into Private Golf Courses and Universities and a no go our event. And other stuff too. The six flags magic mountain has a drive-thru only car event. Put on by West Coast Custom...$50 per car driving in. Can’t get out of car and it’s $50. We’ll pass a putting on a event there. https://www.sixflags.com/magicmountain/events/cruisn-the-park-car-showAnd I swear it was $80 when it was first announced.

I was there, I'll bet the modern cars count was considerably higher than half . No offense but if thats the way the mopar only shows are headed,,,Im out.Especially ones 2 plus hours away I'll stick to local cruise in and cars and coffee events

Seems most of the membership of this club is getting up in years. With that there are more and more members trading in gin their older cars for the newer hot rods. Tired of bending over fenders. I opted to not rejoin the club this year. They’ve had one event besides the Cruz. Of course at that event the majority of cars that showed were new models. They met at a park in south Phoenix and was suppose to cruise up to an event in north Phoenix. When they hit the freeway all the newer cars took off leaving the older cars behind. Not my idea of of a club event when everybody scatters in the Phoenix traffic. Of course those same members seem content on driving to a parking lot, popping their hoods and sitting back in their lawn chairs.
