One gallon of water and one rock, bring to a boil and consume. Doesn't get any simpler than that !!! For added flavor add the meat and or veggies of your choosing. You can also add herbs of your choosing and salt and pepper to taste.

A few times a year we throw a whole chicken in the crock pot. Just put a couple cups of water in with the frozen bird. You don't really need to season it at all but sometimes we put some lemon pepper seasoning on it. Throw it together and by the time you get home from work it's done. It just falls apart. Then make some mashed potatoes and use the stock for gravy. One of my favorite meals.

Wrap boneless chicken breasts with bacon; add some sliced onion; add bottle of favorite bbq sauce; cook on low 6 hrs. Good stuff. Can substitute boneless pork chops.

Chicken breasts and salsa. Cook on low while at work and when I get home I shred the chicken and put it back in until I shower and get ready for dinner.

This one is my go to. I found it after watching " Once Upon A Time In Mexico". I f you have it on disc, in the extra features, the director tells you how to make it. I tried it his way a couple of times but its labor intensive. Getting the banana leaves is a pain. Cutting the meat up like he does it makes it dried out. So... I've been doing it in a crock pot for several years now. You need one big enough to put a football in[ 2 gallon?] or close to it. Depending on where you are located the main spice, Achiote/Annatto seeds, can be interesting to source. I was able to get them at the regular grocery store when we lived down by San Diego. So far up here I have not found them but I did find the already ground powder at a local Mex store/taco shop. Which worked out as my coffee grinder stopped working. This spice stains like a mofo so I suggest you don't use your regular grinder. The one I was using got dedicated to that task alone. Also I like garlic so I'll throw the whole clump in after pulling it apart. I would get the pork in anywhere from 6-8 lb sizes so its ok if you can't get 5 exact. Anymore I leave the roast intact as its way less labor and it comes out juicy. This last batch I just did I tried spare ribs at 5 lbs. The bones and extra fat seemed to take out a lot of the fire from the Habanero. Anymore I use a pepper about the size of my thumb joint, at the nail, or just a little smaller. Any bigger and no one else can eat it. If you are a lightweight and think Taco Bell is hot then you will want to scale it down. Having more meat helps to cool it down. Also pork butt is not what it sounds like[ I learned that one too] as its actually a cut of the shoulder area. When I put the Tequila in, its usually at least half a bottle quart size or so[ 750 ml?]. If you have religious restrictions regarding alcohol, the booze cooks off.Having the extra liquid gives you more cover over the meat plus more juice to put over the rice. Once its done its 10 hr ccok I'll shred it up. DON'T wear anything you don't want stained. This stuff is very hard to get out of clothes. I've made several nice tee's into new work shirts the hard way
Wow, I like that. Brought back memories of the time I tried that with my passed out wife, and in return recieved an absolute flurry of closed fist strikes landed squarely on face, chest and genitals. God, it was worth it.

Get Pie filling 3 or 4 cans of it pending size of pot 1 box white cake mix or what ever flavor you like 1 stick of butter cut up and sprinkled on top
Open the pie filling and put in bottom of crock pot, pour and even out the cake batter over the pie filling. place the chunks of butter over the top of the cake mix, cook on high for 4 hours, let cool down or be really careful eating because its hot. really good with ice cream on top of that in a bowl!!
