Need a question answered about a 340 distributor. So if you have a 68 factory service manual could you look at the dist specifications whether the 4 speed dist has a vacuum advance or not. Some dude is claiming his came with full centrifugal, no vacuum. I need to settle this argument with documentation. Thanks Tip: Don’t argue with idiots

All OEM non race only Mopars made in that era had vacuum advanve, ALL ofthem. Tell that dude his car may that been that way when he got it but it wasn't made that way from the factory I've own more than one factory original 340 A body cars, 4 speeds and automatics I wish now that I had kept the 1968 Cuda Formula S 340 4 speed car but I didn't
Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

Thank you both, he got me doubting myself, and I know better lol. I think the only time was on the race Hemis 64-65-68, it that right? Good point. I even have a Dodge HD truck manual for Models 100-800. Including 318 and 413 special truck motors and they list vacuum advance for everything.
