My 69 Satellite is painted a very dark green, much darker than the F8 and I like it. It has the deluxe green interior, but I am thinking of changing it over to Pewter. With pewter upholstery, what color did the factory use for the carpet, headliner, dash pad? I am guessing the door panels were pewter, but figure the HL,and carpet and dash were black?? Any pics would be great! Thanks, Lee.

Actually, if you had pewter interior, everything was pewter. I had a 69 GTX with pewter interior and the carpet, headliner, dash, console, and everything was pewter and it was all original. I doubt the Satellite would be different.

black dash & carpet.
I think the Upper Door Frame paint was different between the bench seat (UDF - X9-black) and bucket seat (UDF - A4-silver metallic) '69 interiors.

Dan,

H2S, M6S and P6S all have the A4 upper door paint.

All A4 UDF in '69. After the A12 pewter interior was posted I started looking for the correct answer. I had a picture on my brain of the '68 D4S black & silver Road Runner bench seat with black upper door frame interior.
