Strange's adjustable carrier bearings are a plus but, if you don't plan on setting it up yourself, it's not an issue.

I would avoid/upgrade a Trac Lok diff if possible.

1967 B body on the Wife's R/T Challenger with Dr. Diff's offset hanger kit.
An inch narrower per side is about right. . Stuffed a 15x10 wheel under the car with 325/50-15 tires.
The 10" wheels have custom 5.75" backspacing. I used longer wheel studs and spacers to get the wheels/tires located in the perfect spot.
Tires fit under the car. No rubbing anywhere.

Well which is it, "avoid" or "upgrade" ?!?!? Avoid the entry level Trac Lok and upgrade to something better/stronger like Power Lok, Eaton TrueTrac, etc.

Looking to buy a Dana 60 for 70 E body. Standard length, perch and snubber location. Street use with occasional strip competition. Seen both Strange and Moser carriers on the internet. Is one better than the other? The Moser has the look of the original rear end from Mopar. Any opinions and best place of purchase? Here is my Strange S60 standard ebody next to a factory 70-71 B body which is longer than an ebody. Here is S 60 in car. the wheels are 15"-8" with MT Street R 28" x 11.5" x 15". Almost the same size as 275-60-15. That's the biggest you'll fit with stock perches and spring location. Bought it from Dr. Diff and would buy from him again. Great service.

Hi R-Rod,
If its a snubber D60 you want, then it will have to be an original one I suppose? Not sure if the aftermarkets have the holes for the snubber mounts.
Track loc is fine for what you want to do. 70 Dana has the 35 spline shafts so all good there!
If you are getting an aftermarket then you can choose all the goodies you want. I have an original 1970 D60 here from a Sixpack Challenger, if you was closer I would gladly sell to you.

Hi second 70,
Out of interest, how much was the E-body dana from Dr.Diff please? What style of diff did he fit and what ratio?
Best wishes from John UK

Best wishes from John UK John it was $2973. Paid extra for powder coating. And yes it does have the mount for a pinion snubber. Look at picture on the pallet and you'll see the three bolts screwed in and the snubber is laying on the pallet. It's an S-track 4:10. Should be good up to 1000HP.

Another one here for Dr Diff. Cass has top notch stuff and goes out of his way to make sure the stuff he makes is top notch. I have the same kit for my 70' CUDA and looking to buy his new suregrip when a few dollars get saved up.

Run a 1970 B Body rear end factory length since 1973 in my 1971 Challenger. 1971 Transmissions and Rear Ends because of the changes Chrysler did are not my first choice unless it is a restoration.. Some aftermarket housing do not have a provision for a Pinion Snubber on the housing. If you are going to run big HP I would be looking at aftermarket with good axles, center section, bearings, yoke on and on. It all cost about the same. If you plan on selling the rear end in the future a factory rear end would sell easier to someone doing a restoration.
