Anyone else finding cool stuff for sale because of this pandemic. We just got these two yesterday. The owner was having lack of work issues and had to sell something. We bought the 69 Satellite, 32,000 original miles, because it was a great deal. It still feels like a new car and drives like a dream. The owner showed us the 70 Challenger R/T clone but it needs some work to finish. So we talked and made a deal and bought it too. It will be getting the helliphant engine we have coming in a few weeks. I felt bad for the seller but in the end we helped him a bunch with needed funds and we scored two super nice Mopars. I promised him a drive in the Challenger when it's finished.

What I was asking is , has anyone else found some good buys for something they might not have been able to get before all this happened. These two cars we got yesterday just fell into my lap. Someone I know messaged me about a car, the 69, because he knew I loved Mopars. It's what we've been looking for since the first part of the year. The price was very reasonable so I jumped on it. While there he showed me his other car, the Challenger and after some discussion he priced it and was fair about it, so I bought it too.

Have not seen anything that I would call a deal not to pass up. If anything the prices are as high as they have ever been. Project cars in need of everything that should be 5k are 15k.

Well, You never know how things will turn out. He may be the one that is talking about unloading his old cars just in time before the market collapsed.

Part of being stuck at home a bit more than normal is that I have had time to go through all my stuff. I have been selling extra parts and parts I know I will never use. I know some folks here have been benefited as I usually have pretty low prices. I have noticed that locally some project car prices have dropped. Especially mid 70s and 80s cars (vettes, camaros, etc). A friend of mine scored a nice 67 Mustang for a steal, so 60s cars seem to be dropping some too. There is some job concerns in my area so I think in general there is a sell off. If there is another lockdown, a lot of businesses that have hung on by a string may not survive and could really hurt.
