A friend of mine bought one of the 3000 lb Harbor Freight ones last year on sell, it worked about five times and died Mine has been in my trailer for over five years now, I had a 2500 lb super Winch in my 22 ft pace trailer, it would struggle a little when the car(3000 lb Duster)was coming up the door with the back tires until the front tires got onto the flat part of the trailer The 4500 lb will pull my 3200 lb. car into the trailer when I leave it in park The car will go sideways at first on the dirt but straight on the pavement in park I have had to pull a 3/4 ton 4x4 pick up home one night for a nieghbor after it broke down, darn Fords anyways

I like the 4500 lbs. Super Winches I have had several other cheaper and lighter winches on other trucks and trailers, the 4500 lb one are way better and live forever compared to the other ones I bought
Had a cheap one - broke with the car halfway in the trailer - car rolled out fast enough to hurt someone.
Now have S4500 even for the open trailer.

i have the SuperWinch S4500 for 7 years now no problems pulling up the cars. only problem i had was when my son was 5 he broke the hand held remote control.
I have 2 of those...one for 11 years and the other the last 6...both have the fairlead rollers..
I also have the 9000 series...what a monster...had that on an open 35' when I was buying 2-3 cars at a time...pulled cars out of ravines with that one..

Superwinch 1500 here. That thing is at least 30 years old,but it still works.Luckily,I've only really had to use it a few times.

all I have is a warn 1700lb its a little slow but pulls the car fine however I have only used it once just to see if it would do the job because I just drive the car in and out of the trailer its only there in case something breaks on the car.

I use the Harbor Freight cheapo and I used it every time I loaded the car(I winched it in backwards) its still running strong. I now pull the car in forwards and dont use the winch very often... but its still there and working fine at less than $100 VS a big dollar one

I have a 3000 lb from Harbor Frieght. It was cheap and so far works great. If I had the $$$ I would have got a Warn.
