I will be installing some 0(2) sensors in my header collectors before my engine gets dynoed (512 stroker) and I am wondering afterward if I want to really tune the Air/Fuel ratio myself is there an affordable Wideband Sensor tuner that I can buy so i can do it?

Who has used one and what would you recommend?

I guess it depends on what you consider affordable.
AutoMeter makes a nice one but it will set you back.

Curious about this as well. I have close to a dozen carbureted cars, so I'd like something I can swap from car to car.

I'm a big fan of wideband meters. I own an Innovate LM-1, and I liked it so much I have an LC-1 permanently mounted in my Coronet.

If you care about fuel mileage, big gains can be had when you can read exactly what you've got and when. You'll also learn more than you ever knew possible about your chosen carb and how it works and you tweak it for accuracy under all conditions. If you're a "carburetor geek" or ever thought you might like to be one, a wideband meter is the gadget for you!

On the race only board there's a discussion that you should read - someone basically asked the same question you just asked. Be sure to read that as well.

I also use the LC-1. If you already have a laptop, then it kit is only $200. If you want to permanently mount a guage, thats like $80 more.

I feel the laptop solution that I use works great. You start the software, and it captures the a/f ratio as you are driving. Then you can tell which circuit on the carb needs calibration.
