I need to get new leaf springs for my 1970 Road Runner. The original springs are incomplete, and althoutgh the Build Sheet is MIA- the front end is 100% original and the car has 780/781 bars in it (Optional S15 "Hemi Suspension").
Looking at the Eaton Detroit spring catalog for a 1970 Road Runner, they have the following listings:
- 383: A "Standard Duty" spring with a 113 Spring Rate (S13 suspension I'd guess). No other selection options - Hemi/440+6: A "Standard Duty" spring with a 130 spring rate and a "High Performance" spring with a 175 spring rate.
Is the Hemi "Standard Duty" spring with a 130 spring rate the S15 suspension for a 383 RR, and the "High Performance" spring with a 175 spring rate the S16 suspension? Or is the "High Performance" spring with a 175 spring rate the S15 spring for a 383 RR?
TIA!
