who has used this cam 284 / 528 mopar solid in a 340"

has any one used / dinoed this cam in a 340 ?

where did you set the centerline ?

mopar sugest it be 110 deg.

I'd stick it in between 108 and 110 icl. You have a loose converter,4.30 gear and compression? Right?

not nearly enough info. Buy an engine program, lots of them out there, put in all your specs, a lot more informed answer. Plus you can spend hours and hours building virtual engines you can never afford. Plus you will be surprised how much you can learn, just by understanding the specs you input and why the program needs them to do the calculations.

i ran one in my with 9.5:1 compression and 340 x heads that were ported. really ran well never got it on the dyno but had plenty of torque down low and lots of pull in the mid range.

Stock compression 340 I installed mine at 107 IIRC. Runs hard with plenty of grunt!

4 speed car and had 3.91's for a while, now has 3.23 with a 26" tire on it. Car moves really well.
