I have a Schauer battery charger and starter. It's the lunch box size. Had mine since the mid 80's. Very happy with it. I also use a Battery Tender. Keep in mind, the battery tender is not designed to charge a near dead battery.
It's just intended to keep the battery up when not in use. Going back to the Schauer; I have used it through the years and has never failed me. Car batteries , jet ski batteries, aircraft batterys, lawn mower batteries etc have all been charged or
jumped with my Schumacher charger.

I have an 80s luncbox size one and one of the newer ones that has 3 amp settings from low to I think it's 500A start and one of those battery minder size trickle chargers that's great to put on stuff over night especially if it's outside you can fit it under the hood.
I've seen a lot of bad reviews of the newer chargers with digital displays stop working after a year or two.

I knew someone was going to reference that very sad day in the Mopar world when I typed up the question.
