My Father in law is searching for a drivers side axle for a 1967 Newport. Finding this exact model in a junk yard in 2009 is going to be tough. Any good aftermarket parts or possibly another mopar I could look for? I had 2 sets of axles and both are too long

I'm sure Moser Axle could make one or a pair for you. Cost is pretty reasonable.

OK Doctor Diff is the man he came through with a great price immediately after being contacted. Unfortunately the bottom line ... my FIL needed to get the car off the lift $$ and did not want the car there for several days. So it is up to the owner to find his part. Axle was lightly polished, new seal was installed and the customer was given full knowledge before all was done.
That lift makes more most days than that job paid. Cass I will try to find the owner and get him your info.
The car was MINT too, owner just scored it when prior owners girlfriend needed some cash to bail him out of the klink. It's a 2dr, 383 I think, Original interior etc. w/one repaint

Sorry Cass
