I scored a complete set of these on chrome shafts today for $250. What pushrods will I have the most success with on my B engine?

I like smith bros. Before you spend any more money take every rocker arm off and make sure the shafts are not galled, or the inside of the rockers are not scored up.

Manton series 3 or 5, depending on how much valve spring pressure and RPM you want to spin the motor twocents
No more Smith Bros. for me(they are local to me) after more than one failure of theirs down
They don't use the best materials for their race pushrods ending up with failures down NOT GOOD rant
Tell who ever you talk to at Mantons that Cab said to call and get theirs up scope

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

I use Mantons with my ductile iron Crane rockers. Very happy with them.

I read in another thread that you run a Howard's Hydraulic roller, do you still use your crane rockers with the Hydraulic roller cam ?

I apologize.. not trying to hijack.

I run Smith Brothers with my Isky's on my low deck engine without issue. Not making huge power though either.

425HP and 525 TQ.

Primarily a street car.

I’ve used Smith Bros on the last 6 engines, varying from 540 to 800 hp. Never an issue with any of those. Earliest engine being run since 2004. Just my experience.
