Three passes like this. All 1.27. 1275, 1.276, 1.274

CORRECTION; this was the first pass on Saturday, 22nd. Poor idle caused launch delay. The other two good runs looked exactly the same to the 60 ft clocks.

Graph of sunday pass, 8.854, 154.32 mph, 1.274 60 ft
Any idea why the acceleration in high gear is choppy in the first half of high gear? Or why acceleration drops at top of 1st? It is more pronounced than other runs (1st gear dropoff)

That's enough HP to go 8.60's or better. Any bumps in the track at those points?
Where does the convertor flash compared to the TQ and HP peaks?

On the loss of acceleration in low gear and high gear I would look at fuel delivery, low gear having fuel sloshed into the motor on the launch and maybe running out of fuel in high gear work scope
I would tighten up, slow down, the front shocks also twocents
Is this a ladder bar car or 4 link? I think adjusting the rear suspension to help limit, lower, the wheelie will help also wrench scope

Well from the distance cant tell much other than it appears to be dead hooked and tripped the 60' beams with something other than the front tire it appears. Looks like the G meter, which I assume is the second graph is shows the same. Converter is WAY WAY tight. Looks like flash is 62-6300 shifting at 77-7800 falling back to 6200ish is simple KILLING it. G Forces will fall steadily throughout the run from beginning to end. The "choppiness" could be many things but doubt it is anything major. Could be the way the recorded is mounted could be how it is mounted to could be tracks a tad rough. By the looks of it its choppy the entire run..Wouldn't read a lot into that. Plenty to fix with the dead hook and converter for now Id say.

FWIW here is a more typical data log of a G Meter, also shows driveshaft and engine rpm

Smooth track.
Converter flashes to 6200 to 6300, shifts are 7500 and 7300 on the 2/3. Torque peak 5400, hp still climbing a touch at 7200.

Cab, mechanical injection, fuel psi is steady during run. Will tighten front some and see. Its a 30 inch ladderbar.

Al, shifts are 7500 on the 1/2 and 7300 on the 2/3. Flash 6300? So i have about a drop of 1200 low to second, 1000 2nd to 3rd. I will have to see if the G meter can vibrate , causing the rough graph.
