Anybody ever remove the stainless part of the vent frame? I've already removed the pot metal parts to get rechromed. I'd like to blast and paint the metal frame and polish the stainless.

I've about decided to send them to Advanced Plating in Nashville Tenn. I saw some pieces they did that looked outstanding.

Advanced Chrome Plating in Nashville is crazy on their pricing. They wanted $750 to mine. NUTS!!
