Hello NE guys! Its been about 18 years since my last dragstrip pass and I am planning on heading up there later this month/early September. Couple of questions regarding the Wed/Fri test tune nights.

1. NHRA allows in car cameras to be mounted as long as it is not pointed purposely at your opponent. Is this something the tech guys give you a hard time about? I have one go pro mounted on the inside of the rear glass that I want to use.


2. Is the guy taking pics still there? 18 years ago there used to be a guy who would take close up pics of the starting line and you could go to his trailer later and purchase, does this still exist on the test/tune nights?

they usually have a track photographer there most days, I strapped a 80's boom box to record audio on cassete deck to my cage, they never said anything

I have seen so many GoPros on cars at the track, its like they filing a TV show...LMAO

Doubt they will say anything, however if putting outside the car, use a safety tether of some sort. My buddy found a GoPro on the return road ! ! LOL
