Read up on the Magnuson-Moss Act.
The manufacturer can’t void your warranty for just any reason. It has to be called out in the written warranty document. Perform the oil change and keep records and you will be fine. You don’t even have to use Mopar products during those maintenance events.

Do a search here. This was just discussed not too long back and there were some alternatives posted.

I never knew anyone was quoting that much! But then everything in NY is more expensive. Synthetics are more expensive, that's one reason, and the capacity is higher than the old days of the 5 quarts sumps, but other than that, I don't see why.
When I had my '06 SRT8 Charger, I found it quite easy to do myself. I did have to get a lower profile floor jack, but that was it. The filter was very accessible as was the plug. I just kept the filter/oil receipt in my file for warranty purposes, but never needed it. You have a good car with a strong reliable engine.
Can you change it yourself? Save a lot of money and know it's done right.
Facts are stubborn things.

I can't tell you how many times I had to bust out a copy of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act at work, and stuff it in the faces of service advisors and service managers who would attempt to deny warranty service because a vehicle had been in a previous accident. Worked like a charm.

Just get yourself a K&N filter (rated good in big study) and some Amsoil (always rated well) and change it yourself. C'mon, are YOU a geezer and can't change your oil and filter?
