Anyone have information on the NATS in Columbus, Ohio. Are they still being held. Any restrictions. THANKS for thread MOPARTS!

Just saw a post of FB from a very reliable source that say it is cancelled at least for August. May be trying to reschedule for October.

Nats is cancelled for Aug, Slim but not likely chance to reschedule later this fall. But dont count on it

When I check at http://moparnats.org/ and National Trails website it doesn't show anything yet.

Not great news, Due to the recent Covid restriction changes in Ohio, as of today we were forced to postpone the event to 2021. We are sorry we had to change at the last minute but the new restriction changes announced by the County do not allow spectators and a maximum of 25% capacity in which has already been surpassed by pre-registered participants. Also, mandatory masks and social distancing are required. We had no choice but to postpone the event due to these new changes. We are working out the process for Pre-Registered participants to have the option of rolling their entry into 2021 and locking in the price for next year or if necessary requesting a refund. Directions will be available soon on the Nationals website at www.thenats.com. If you have hotel reservations, remember to cancel or move them to 2021. August 13,14,15, 2021 at NTR.

Maybe a year off will refresh everyone's outlook on this event, like a little taste of what it would be like without it. I know my car clubs participation fell off the map two years ago, which took a lot of fun out of going. Here's hoping 2021 will be a surge in participation instead of a surge in this darn pandemic.

So recent Carlisle was such a success and The Nats are now chicken and hiding under the bed?

Not great news, due to the recent spike in Covid cases in Ohio, as of today (7-21-2020) we are forced to postpone the event to 2021. With it being our 40th Year Anniversary, Tribute to the 1970 Model Year and the General Lee Jump, with Luke & Daisy being there in person and signing autographs, we had no choice but to postpone the event due to these new changes where many of you would have missed out. I believe it was just cancelled today, or at least just the last couple days.

My buddy just told me he received an email that Jim Belinda announced it was officially cancelled.

I got all the mails on this subject and they still say they may hold it in October, but I doubt it...

If the Ohio Health Department and county officials would allow the event to operate we would have The Nats. Unfortunately, current spikes in covid19 in Ohio and surrounding states have cancelled numerous social and business events.

More restrictions are coming in Ohio in coming days that have handcuffed the event organizers and race track. Many firms had to eliminate participating in shows due to restrictions that limit your exposure and success.

The county officials do not have a plan for dealing with Covid19 so their plan is to eliminate anything that can trigger the spreading of the virus.

Come race at the Mopar event at Eddyville raceway this week end. Race when you can.
