The Texas state fair, big deal to most of the natives , it goes on for about a month and 100's of 1000's attend .. I think they sell something like 500,000 corn dogs a year , it could be more .. the fair is cancelled so , Fletchers who has the corn dog market cornered ..decided to set up up kiosks to see them at in 2020
people went wild of course

Wisconsin state fair is also canceled.
i read in today's paper they are going to set up a drive thru for people to buy some of the specialty foods sold at the fair.

i won't participate but it sounds like a good idea to me.

Bummed about the WI state fair. We go a couple times every year! Laid back atmosphere, tons of good food, craft beers and great music. Drive thru will not cut it.

Not unexpected it’s cancelled. Bummer though. Texas State Fair is on my bucket list. I’ve been to Ohio, Illinois, South Carolina and Iowa fairs. The best corn dog, so far, was a foot long in Illinois. But the best “corn dog” I’ve ever had was at Iowa...it was a bunch of shrimp on the stick, dipped in corn meal and deep fried. O...M...G! I had six in two days. I’ve got to get Wisconsin and Minnesota too.

In my 63 years I have never eaten a corn dog and I don't think that will change before I die.

Like anything else, some are better than others. A really good corn dog isn't easy to find, but it's a treat when you do.

Touche.

Some peoples' only experience with them are the ones frozen from a box and heated in the oven. Not worthy of further discussion.
