I have been doing this all my life and now that I think about it, I have never seen a slant 6 4x4. Huh

A neighbor ordered this truck new.it has been 1/4 mile from my house since new. It has 31K original miles and the granny gear trans

according to Wikipedia they used the slant 6 in 1981–1987, 225 cu in (3.69 L) Slant-6, 95 hp (71 kW; 96 PS), 170 lb⋅ft (230 N⋅m).

I don't think they tracked production by short vs long bed.....but with everything I say, I could be proven wrong, just ask my wife. lol

The W-100 / W-150 4X4 trucks used the 225 6 cylinder all the way through the 1987 year then they went v-6. Most were granny geared 4 speeds. I had a 82 with an automatic.
