Hello, I have a customers car a 1972 Plymout satellite (Road Runner clone) for a 19 year old kid and I am trying to keep his cost down on his car but the brake rotors that Year one has to replace his are $269.00 each!...Does anyone know where to buy them cheeper? I have checked with Autozone and Advance and they can't get them.
Is there a way to use a rotor for another yer/type of Mopar?

Thank you,
I called my local Napa that I deal with first and they at first told me they could get them $127.00 each...and when they checked to see availability they said they couldn't get them.
I do have a Car quest available to me but I don't usually buy parts there because he is allways higher than everyone else.

does he have the small or large bearing rotors? the large bearing rotors are a lot cheaper. you may consider swapping spindle to get the large bearing rotors they are much cheaper. also you can try contacting Dr diff i believe he had a spacer kit available to put large bearing rotors on small bearing spindles.

Which is the exact rotor you can use with Doc Diff's bearing spacer...Course you'll need new inner bearings too.

My spindle sleeve kit includes 2 spacers and 2 seals so you can run '73 and newer A,B,E,F,M,J body 10.95" or 11.75" rotors on '70-'72 B or E body disc knuckles.

Use '73 and newer inner wheel bearings.

Of course, you must also change the caliper brackets, if you want to run the larger 11.75" rotors.

Well, I found a pair of spindles with caliper brackets in the garage and they have to be 70-72 B & E body. so all I would need to put the 11 3/4" rotors on is your spacers w/seals...and your caliper brackets?

Yes, you will need either 10.95 caliper brackets or 11.75 caliper brackets depending on which rotor you want to run.
