so after looking thru some of it, I found one on page 81. It says .645 lift. It was my understanding this cam was .665 on the intake and .645 on the exhaust. Also once you find the cam can you find a cam card with valve lash specs or is this somewhere else. Birdtracker

I would call Comp tech assistance and give them the serial number and lobe numbers on your cam. They should be able to provide lash (which depends on the rocker ratio you use).
I find it easiest to download the Comp Catalog, open it with Adobe (PDF) and use the search (magnifying glass icon) to find the lobe number.
That intake lobe lift shows 0.442" so using 1.5 rockers it calculates to 0.663" lift.

It’s split both duration and lift on intake and exhaust. .663 lift on intakes with 266 duration. 645 on exhaust with .260 duration. I had this motor running very little with this cam. It was very responsive but I have not had it on a dyno or made any passes. Birdtracker

I think you typed that backwards. Isn't it
260 deg 0.663" lift Intake
266 deg 0.645" lift exhaust

What was the lash they recommended?

Lash can be fine tuned to the combo, so any recommended lash on the cam card is really just a suggested starting point imo.

For that cam, I’d start at .020/.022 hot.

Recommended was .016 intake and .018 exhaust. I do plan on opening it up as cold the intake lash would be close to zero. I check it when I ran it a few times and with the aluminum block and heads , lash grew .016. I set them at .010 cold for the initial fire up. Think I am going to do .005 this time. Birdtracker
