anyone have trouble reading date on front of k frame. i can make out first # 1- - 9 1 . can't make out the 2nd or 3rd #. 426 on fender tag.
still trying to figure out two # in middle.

You'll have to do a little careful removal of paint, rust, etc., to get those two missing numbers................I've been able to photograph a few on not my vehicles just with rubbing the area with a wet finger, not so tasty but sometimes it works.

thanks ,i removed the paint with wire wheel.no rust and used cell phone at different angles.i can see what looks like part of two numbers.i have car on lift so its easy to get to it.i will try the wet finger and some soap stone to see what i can come up with. numbers on the LCA rivets are easy to see but i don't remember how to date code the rivets and i know the K-frame will get me closer to assembly date since i am bored and have nothing better to do.
