Just bought a 2019 Ram 1500 Lonestar 4WD, 5.7. It has 18" tires that I would like to change to 20" w/OEM wheels. I can find the wheels and tires but I'm concerned that there might be issues with that change. Specifically, I've heard that on previous years Rams, the 20" tires wore VERY quickly. Has anyone had that problem with the newer Rams and are there any potential problems with making this change? Thanks Why would you want to change or what do you expect to gain other than additional money spent ?

My '17 had 20s on it. At 40K miles they still looked like new.

The tires only seem to me to wear out depending on whatever dodge was putting on originally if it was good or not, sometimes they use junk sometimes not. The speedo is dependant on overall tire diameter not wheel diameter, I just took my 18" winter wheels and tires off my 11 and they are taller than the 20" wheels and tires I use in the summer. I have a couple different scanners I can use to fix the speedo in about 5 minutes.
