It looks like the spot price for Ethanol ($1.12) is now 60% higher than RBOB ($0.70) gas.

So how long until corn free e0(pure gas) is cheaper than e10, e15 & e20, e85?
I know the Gov and refineries will never let that happen (They're too committed to the vile brew now) But since prices are dropping quickly at the pump, shouldn't the e15 at least leap frog the e10, instead of being cheaper. It's clearly more expensive to make it now. And after virtually disappearing from PA for years, finally ethanol free gas has been making a comeback locally. All of the new Royal Farms stations are selling e0 '90' (formally 91 octane) at every pump... it was selling above 93 e10... but as of the last few days they are getting close to even... and diesel is now 5-10cent cheaper than 89 e10... haven't seen that in years.

Thoughts?

I'd love to see E0 everywhere. My wife bought 87 octane today for $1.49 cash today. Everywhere else around is $2.00. Maybe this one station was having an armageddon sale...........

It's not immediately obvious what it stands for on a quick Google search.

I believe he meant RBOB. Reformulated blendstock for oxygenate blending.
In other words, gasoline.

E15 and E85 have always been more than E10 here and still is. Diesel is also still more than E10 here by about $.40

Correct....
Middle of the night brain fart.... coupled with poor proof reading & missing old man glasses. laugh2

Down to $0.62 last time I looked today...
Where I live Fed & State PA Taxes total $0.77, and are now higher than the wholesale spot price.
Ethanol is now at $0.97... still higher than gasoline. (It was in $1.35+ up until 2/10)

Around here in PA... E15 jumps around between $.05-.15 less than e10, but not many stations carry it.
Gas station down the street
Flex - $1.95 (Described as, anywhere from e-51 to e83)
e15 88 - $1.99
e10 87 - $2.15
e10 89 - $2.45
e10 93 - $2.75
_e0 90 - $2.78
Diesel -- $2.35

E85 < I looked tonight and the pumps once labeled e85, are now labeled FlexFuel stating ethanol content can vary between e51 & e83

Meanwhile at SAMS Club
e10 87 - $2.07
e10 93 - $2.37

Same station today was a dime lower per gallon. Filled my Ram for $1.49/gal. for CC. Wow, did that feel good amidst all the other pain we have going on right now!
