I've seen this mentioned here before. What do you guys recommend to stop all the pop-up crap that slows down so many of
the web sites I visit?

Is it free of do you have to buy it?

Does the browser you use matter? Depending on which computer I am using and the site I need to visit I may use Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Microsoft Edge. Thanks.

windows 10 on my desktop. run Firefox,, ad block plus, Firefox popup blocker, ublock origin .

never see a popup ad, the only add i see are the ones at the top of the page.

i often have the good problem of sometimes there is alternate links in articles that won't open when i click on them. i have to right click and use open link in new window to get it to open.

I use Chrome and AdBlock Plus...works great. I have Chrome on all my deices and have them synced so my favorites, bookmarks, etc all look exactly the same no matter which device I'm on.
