B&M series 60. Early to mid-70's. Basically an improved version of the '64-65 Mopar floor shifter. Imperial Services was re-popping these a few years back. NHRA banned any after market shifter that didn't have a positive reverse lock out which doomed the market on these I had several of them but had to switch all the race cars over to legal ones They area really good shifter way better than the later ones with the cheaper cables I like and use the Winters, Fairbanks, Turbo Action floor shifters now

Looks like a development of their previous unit, which I think didn't have that "bubble". I remember 3 B&M buildings in Chatsworth when I worked for them '70-'73, one being the Sportscoach plant. One had the corporate offices upstairs, and I think they'd left Van Nuys altogether by that time. That might help date it, or look inside the shifter.
The main hiring requirement seemed to be being a racer. With Kent Fuller, KS Pittman, and an endless parade of other notable racers either working there or passing through, lots of fun memories.

Let me know if that shift knob would come up for sale...need one for my brother's Series 60 shifter in his early 70s build Model A pickup. Sure would but I'd need the whole thing for my 71 RR which would only use vintage parts.

So you found it Mr. Swede? No public insults please. Calling a Fin a Swede is like calling a millienial a Hippy Like calling a New Yorker a Red Neck Hillbilly Most native born Americans that have not spent any time out of our country don't know about the locations of other countries, especially in Europe and Scandainavia (SP?) and their dislike being call another nationally I spent 9 months in Germany in 1967 in the U.S Army, one of my old race cars is in Finland now,1963 Plymouth M.W. Belvedere, and one in Sweden, a 1968 Cuda fast back is the only reason I know about Finland being a bunch different than the other three countries that are close to them.

There has always been some friendly rivalry between Finland and Sweden. Like the saying (from the time Finland was under Swedish rule) "Sweden will fight to the last Finn!" as the most elite troops were Finns. After moving to Sweden some of the motley Illinoisy crew have been giving me a hard time and I can't blame them lol. "During the 30 years war Finland was under Swedish control, Finnish cavalry were known to be the best in the world, and were the favorite weapon of the Swedish king, they proved them self in battle many times and have become an icon for Finnish courage." And the big mystery regarding the funny name of Nokian winter tires, it comes from these very troops. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54YSkW4sJU4
