I am a little embarrassed to ask this but....what would be the correct power brake booster for a 1969 GTS Dart with power drum brakes?

7-1/2 inch rebuildable unit. Shown here with a disc brake master cylinder, but the booster is the same.

would you, by chance, know the bolt pattern on the back side of the booster and the input rod length ?

isn't 7 1/2 inch brake booster 71 72 a body. I thought 67 to 70 was the smaller one

The '69 is definitely a 7-1/2"

The early one is actually 7". I had one on my 67 383 Barracuda, also seen them on 67 Darts. I don't when they switched over, but the 7" is not rebuildable without major work to take the case apart.

I stand corrected. Got out my big calipers and my original '69 measures 6-1/2" across the case and 7" on the outside of the band. I think this is known as the "Second Generation" booster.
The later one measures 7" across the case and 7-1/2" across the outside of the band. This is the "Third generation" booster.
Chrysler had a dealer install booster kit p/n 3420972 for '67-'70 Dart and Valiant and '67-'69 Barracuda. It was the larger 3rd generation (7-1/2" ) booster.

Does your band have the bolt like shown above?

X2! Pushing my luck, does anyone have a picture of the horizontal and vertical braces mentioned in the installation instructions?
