My blower was on a auxillary switch, I decided to investigate and unfortunately the only bit left was the back plate from the switch, is there anyway of repairing it to work just for heat, or do I need a new switch. ?

I think the part you want is 2291095

A couple of links for you to see what it looks like.

https://bluestarperformance.com/par...r-blower-switch-2291095-1963-65-nos.html

https://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-Mopar-...ow-Defogger-Switch-2291095-/333330986612

Not sure you can fix what you have. Also not sure if this is a switch with two speeds or a rheostat, probably a switch, the parts manual calls it a switch. So you probably have 12V in and then either no output (off), 12v out to the resistor pack on the heater box for low speed and 12v out to the motor for high. Two speed blower in this case, looking at the wiring diagrams, that is what it looks like.

You can get botht eh FSM and parts manual in electronic format here http://www.mymopar.com/index.php?pid=31

Sorry, i've not explained it very well, it's the heater vac switch for the push buttons, that's up the creek.

Depends, AC or no AC switch? 4 or 5 buttons essentially.

If it's a 5 button one I've successfully retrofitted a 3895790 vacuum switch into my 65 Cuda. The electrical hook ups are a tad different. I think this switch lets you turn the AC on/off in defrost by pulling the defrost button out, which I believe is the difference but it has been a very long time. My write up from last millennia on how I did that is here. http://www.oocities.org/steve.knickerbocker/cuda/cuda.htm

If it's a 4 button unit, those are hard to find. I know one place that rebuilds them, but you seem to not have anything to rebuild.

You can download the service manual at this link.

A snip from my copy, not super detailed though.

The switch comes out pretty easy.Remove the plastic face plate after you remove the round warm piece.Small allen screw holds it on.Then the panel that houses the push buttons comes out.The cable for the heat control is also attached but usually has enough to get to the vacuum switch. It unscrews for the metal panel. The vacuum lines attach to it.Probally broken as most are.Rocky

Having dealt with old vacuum switches there is no way I'd restore an old one if a new one was available. Once the nipples break off due to age it's just a matter of time. Especially since a new 5 button switch is $120.

Original Air will restore them, too.

If you want to try yourself, some info

https://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/threads/vacuum-switch-repair.164146/

there are some sort of very thin hardboard looking sliders inside that move around to open and block the various vacuum ports that tend to get old, dry and fall apart. So if yours are bad, well good luck trying to make new ones. Also, the electrical part of it, especially the blower circuit, tend to heat up and start warping/melting the plastic. I tried to DIY the one that was originally in my 65 Cuda, with mixed results, but ended up replacing it with the part number I mentioned above. If you can find one a Standard Motors HS101 is their version of that part.

Got the switch out but half of it was resting above the fuse box, some parts were missing, only two sliders, no wire terminals either.

Looks like the 4 button switch, which as far as I can find is not available new and pickings are real thin used/NOS which by thin means I can't find them either. I did read somewhere that someone modded a 5 switch unit to work but other than that I know nothing about the mod. Looks like you might need to contact a rebuilder, show them your pictures and see if they can help. Hopefully they have patterns to make new sliders and the bits and pieces needed to replace what's missing. Who knows, maybe they cannibalize a 5 button switch.
