When looking at a slant 6 motor, where in the heck is the ID pad to tell me what size and year it is. I think it's on the passenger side below the head? But where exactly. I basically need a pic with an arrow pointing to it. I apologize for having to ask such a question, but I feel like an idiot. I don't have a problem identifying any V8's, but can somebody get some crayons and draw me a picture please... It could be all the grease and oil I have to search thru to find..!

If the block has been milled, it may not have been restamped.

To get more info, post a photo of the driver's side of the block, showing the casting numbers, freeze plugs. and ribs.
