I had a decent drone until I put a 14" long dynomax race bullet in the tail. It'd be worthless to make clips right now, as the car is excessively loud because the reducers off the headers are rotting out and I've got a nasty leak. I plan on redoing the Y pipe in a month or so using all 409 stainless, and a magnaflow stainless Y. I'm debating if I want to switch to a big magnaflow muffler (because it's stainless) instead of keeping the big dynomax....

Putting a fuel cell in the trunk would be pretty hard to do since Volare wagons don't have a trunk and I don't believe you want your fuel tank in the same compartment where you place your butt - not to mention your groceries!

] I know about the pre-77 tanks. What I mean is there are also 2 types of 77-89 tanks as well. It isn't a big difference, but one type has a hump that sits about 1" off the surface of the top of tank. You have to beat it flat or modify the trunk floor if you want to move tank over the 1 notch.
I just checked the 77 Volare wagon and 79 Aspen coupe tanks I have out back and both have the raised area you pictured. Different sending units though, 77 is single wire, 79 is 2 wire.
