2001 Dodge 1500 with 5.9 engine. Top radiator hose is hot heater hoses are hot lower radiator hose is luke warm and the heater is also luke warm. When i opened the radiator drain plug nothing will come out. So what is the problem??? Blocked radiator or bad thermostat ??? Ran hot the other day for the first time boiled over added antifreeze and now seems to be running normal temp now.

With it being a 2001, if it hasn't gotten a thermostat yet, its past time to install a new one. A guy might also want to have the cooling system flushed. That may assist in both the radiator and the heater core coolant flow. Gene
