I’m looking to obtain the correct part number for the rear leaf springs on 70 A-Bodies. Was there a common part number used for stock 340 rear leaf springs on A-Bodies across multiple years?

only have 70/71/72 book in house- parts manual under 17-11-3 says 70-72 a body 340 take 3420183

3420 183 could be a parts counter number which is often different from the factory assembly number that is usually seen on used parts.

The factory assembly number for 1971-1972 Demon/Duster is 3400 081, both sides. This might be the same for 1970, but not sure.

Thank you for the information! Anyone know if 1973 A-Bodies changed part numbers for the rear leaf? If so, will 1973 springs still attach properly to a 1970/1971 A-Body?

Here is a shot of the original leaf springs from my 69 340 Dart.
If you have the broadcast sheet, then last 3 digits of the springs installed at the factory are on noted on the sheet.
064 in the case of my springs.
