Finally got the motor out of the Dart today after a whole bunch of mock ups, again. The changes for this winter include, fiberglass hood w/ 6" cowl (replacing the hemi scoop), new carb, air cleaner, throttle bracket, plug wires, master cylinder, brake lines, aluminum radiator, AN radiator hoses, vaccuum pump, re-mounting the alternator, crank pulleys and mandrel, re-routing the wiring into the frame rails, removing a bunch of the radiator support, and re-painting the engine bay, hood, and fenders. Yeah, just a couple of changes I thought.   I need to pull the pan off the motor and fix an oil leak, then that's ready to go back in. Now I just need to get the hood done and get her painted. 20 days until we go racing!

Just a little 366 for now. Solid cam, 11.8:1. Runs low 11's. It looks much faster than it is. I'm setting the car up for a bunch of power in a couple years. I want the chassis done before, so I don't break a bunch of stuff.

Thanks guys! Many, many, hours!    Work on the green one for 3-4 hours after work during the week, and work on mine all weekend. The pic of the green one is a few weeks old. It's almost ready to fire and I expect it will leave in a couple weeks. I brought in a 70' Charger for another guy last Monday to do a restoration on. Gotta keep the racing fund going!
