340Rick, BondoBob and I were standing at the starting line of Bristol's Thunder Valley Dragstrip and it seemed awful short to be 1/4 mile. We were there for the Nascar race and had a little extra time before the race to check out the beautiful dragstrip that runs between the mountains. None of us remembered to bring a camera though.

It's a 1/4 mile track. The score boards are at the finish line. It's a pretty neat track. Taylor raced there for the ECF.

I wish it wasn't so far away to tow, I'd love to go down that track.

It was a long hual. I'm glad I got a DP. I'ld hate to think about making that trip in my old gas powered MH.
Kinda cramped pit spaces compared to Norwalk but at neat track.

I was hoping to be going down that track today, but got rained out.
Thanks for the compliments.

...and if you are ever there to hear two top fuel cars make a pass then you will know why it is called Thunder Valley
