ProSport OP I Live Here Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 17,918 Akron, Ohio	340Rick, BondoBob and I were standing at the starting line of Bristol's Thunder Valley Dragstrip and it seemed awful short to be 1/4 mile. We were there for the Nascar race and had a little extra time before the race to check out the beautiful dragstrip that runs between the mountains. None of us remembered to bring a camera though. 1970 Challenger, all aluminum 528 Hemi, HDK suspension, Tremec 5 speed manual

I'm glad I got a DP. I'ld hate to think about making that trip in my old gas powered MH. Kinda cramped pit spaces compared to Norwalk but at neat track.

As far as the length, it is a full 1/4...if they would've made it shorter i would have run a little closer to what i did at sea level! I was more than 3 tenths slow in the 1/8 (altitude.)
