tried to edit and not sure what happened. just now got back to post. i have 5 of the 3 nipple and 2 of the single nipple. local "mopar guru" said the 3 nipple are hemi and 440 6 pack from 1970/71. the other 2 are from 340/440 67-72. these have been on shelf since 1973 at dodge dealership. how do you tell difference between nos and repop? also why does my phone take pic correctly and then when posted they are upside down? they are not upside down on other sites that i post on. i just learned how to post on sites this week after help from several members here.

Your local Guru is misleading you, none of the pre 1970 push on breather caps had nipples on them, NONE of THEM did tsk
The nipples for the other emissions hose came out on the PUSH IN breather caps along with the matching valve covers with the push in grommets scope twocents

EDITED: I didn't see the first two breathers in the top picture until yesterday blush They are the 1966 to 1969 BB and SB stock push on breather caps up They came in black or chrome only stock is what I remember seeing back in the day shruggy

The 2 in the top photo were on pretty much all Mopar V8s that I can recall, at least 67-69 and I'm pretty sure 70.
My Dad's '66 Sport Fury (CA car, bought new) may have even had one, can't recall for sure.
If they were chromed they'd be for GTX, Road Runner R/T & Super Bee, although a few supposedly snuck through without 'em.
Not sure when the grommet style came in, but definitely later, smog-era stuff.

As for the upside-down photos, that's a smart-phone deal; ironic but common problem here.
I email my phone pics to my home computer and then there's no issue.

From the 1970 FSM, cleaner air package chapter 9A.

Note the breather, 71 same. By 72 they went to a charcoal canister rather than the crankcase to store fumes from the tank.
