Anyone here use the Eastwood Header paint, or even their spray can version ?

How did it do? Look ok?

Did it last a couple years or burn off after a month ?

The key is in the preparation. Blasting works best. Only issue I had after a few years is some spotting of rust from my damp garage.

I just did a set of exhaust manifolds with the stainless steel high temp aerosol. Looks like battleship gray going on but it dried down to a nice cast looking color. Haven't run it yet though.

I used the $1.98 Walmart aluminum paint....Same effect and still looks good. $16.99 for a can of paint thru Eastwood is ridiculus, and I think they have been breathing too much of their own relabled products. A year later and mine still looks good.

I've used the brush on stainless steel manifold paint from Eastwood and it held up well for several years now.It was applied after blasting the parts and yes occasionally a bit of touch-up is required. As for the price-I got a pint and have done 4 sets of manifolds and several touch-ups

I've used Eastwood's stainless steel paint on cast manifolds, brushed on or sprayed (thinned with enamel reducer) and it's held up for 10 years. Sprayed some on some headers and it held up OK but did get some spots which were easily touched up with a brush. Always bead-blast first and wipe down with grease & wax remover. The initial baking-in is pretty interesting, as it'll smoke & smell.

I used Eastwood 5 years ago. Mine still look good. Preparation is the key. I sandblasted and wiped them clean with acetone and gloves until they were painted.
