Nice truck and getting the extra warranty is a smart move. I'd love to have a new truck but I'm just not sold on the 6.7. I'll keep my old 12 valve for now. At least I know after the bomb drops all I will need is 12 volts and some fuel to get it running.

I love my 6.7 even though its an auto... on tow mode with the exhaust brake, towing seems effortless. I live where there are lots of hills and wish I had went with one years ago.

I can STILL smell the brake pads of my dually going through the side roads of SW PA 15 years ago instead of that high dollar toll road ! Big mIsTaKe !

I'd be glad if I never see any issues with the def and egr. I have almost 2k on it and the def tank still says 3/4 full. Fuel mileage is 14-16 city and 22-24 high When you are not towing DEF usage should be really low. I drive a 2016 Duramax daily(work supplied) and with no Load I almost forget that it ever takes DEF because it uses so little. We have had several DEF pickups at work and have had very little trouble with the emissions system. Our only DPF problem was on a ford with 220K miles on it and it got coolant all over it from a bad EGR cooler.
