My son Matt was driving my Duster again today and right after he lost 3rd round the rain and wind hit and hit hard. I had the quad loaded so he could pull right in and as soon as we had it tied down it hit. My 3/4 Ton dodge diesel and loaded car trailer were really rocking and the jack was still down. Local news said we got 1.88 inches of rain in less than a hour. That was one hot muggy race day.

We got no rain yesterday. 15 miles from us got 2.7" with similar results, go figure.

I have seen excessive water put down for the burnouts, but that is #1.

Did they resume racing after it blew past? Nothing a jet dryer won't cure. laugh2

Lol. That was the fastest end of race call I have seen in 44 years of racing. Matt lost anyway and I flew back on the quad and was already packing. Funny Car Summer this Saturday so Greg will be hard at it getting ready for 16 or so Funny Cars, points racers, and spectators

And Ohio. It doesn’t help any with us all walking around with weather apps on our phones. 30% chance of rain and guys stay home

In Tennessee also. At Bristol, our bracket program has had seven scheduled races so far, only two has been run to completion. One race time trials were completed, no elims, two completely washed out and the other two were called in the middle of second round. Rough year every where.
