I just got back a set of ported 915's that I bought used. I had them freshened up, while the shop had them they threw them on the bench. What do you think?

Numbers are at 28"

.100 IN 74.4 / EX 57.9
.200 IN 148.9/ EX 99.9
.300 IN 208.9/ EX 135.6
.400 IN 268.9/ EX 170.3
.500 IN 258.2/ EX 191.9
.600 IN 262.9/ EX 205.3
.700 IN 258.2/ EX 207

These heads going on zero deck, stock stroke 440 with MOPAR 590 solid cam, worked over M1 single plane intake, 850HP annular booster carb, and pro parts big tube headers. Any comments?

What kind of power would you feel this would make?

My comments, three things wrong, iron heads, Mopar 590 cam and annular boosters Is this a race only or dual duty motor and car? If it is a dual duty, be careful on the fuel, the iron close chamber heads will detonate very easily with the wrong fuel and tune up That being said I have used one of the older 590 cams one time , that motor had "346" heads and is still running in a bracket car after six or seven yaers of being race 5 to 15 times each year on race fuel good luck BTW, I saw the same results on that bracket motor on the engine dyno testing a Carb shop custom 1050 Dominator with a tapered dominator adapter against a BG 850 Street Demon on a TM7 intake, we later switch the intake to a 4500 Team G intake and a stock Holley 9375 1050 Dominator and saw a 30 HP increase with the Team G intake and no adapter

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

Cab- this is for a bracket drag car. It will see little if any street duty. I wanted to see what an old school "state of the art circa 1978" build could do. I consider myself a Mopar "purist" Good bad or indifferent, that was the thought process.......LOL
