Looks interesting, guess it uses the coil overs they make but the factory shock tower might not be strong enough to support the weight..I think you need to buy the whole set up

Buddy of mine built a set pretty close to those and put them on his '68 Satellite. He has coilovers and did not brace the shock towers. B body is a lot tougher in that area than an A body.

IIRC, QA-1 is the old CAP stuff.

I have those LCA's on my 64 Belvedere, the whole QA1 front end kit in fact. No issues.

These are for use with torsion bars.

I have the QA1 LCA just like those on my '70 Challenger. They were very easy to install and I drive it on the street all the time. I purchased mine from Mancini's a couple of
years ago. No issues so far.

From QAI's website
https://www.qa1.net/mopar-control-arms

Quote
Lower Control Arms
QA1 offers Mopar A, B and E-Body control arms with sway bar tabs. These lower control arms are a direct bolt-in on your factory k-member and are twice as strong as factory arms and don't add any weight. The set includes bushings, pivot arms and nuts for ease of installation. Made in the USA.

Sounds to me like you get pretty much nothing out of them versus just buying the $20 stiffening plates for the factory control arms. Maybe you're car will be faster due to the driver now having a lighter wallet.

IMO, it pretty well proves how non essential the LCA gusset modification is, as the pictured arms "maybe/seems to be" up to the task required, but are substantially less robust then the OEM LCA's, even without the gusset modification. biggrin

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.
