Rallye Wheel Inspection Marks? #2645941

While prepping my Rallyes for resto, I found some markings on the back that I hadn’t noticed before. Anyone ever seen this type of marking? I expect they’re factory or manufacturing markings, but I guess you can’t rule out some one doing something at a tire shop. These are original paint, matched date of 5/5/70.

Couple other anal tidbits. There’s some red paint residue from the drum paint on one rim and one still has the white dot valve stem cap. Pretty cool..

I have seen this before on original wheels. I sure it was based on an audit check as the product was delivered from the sequencing equipment just prior to installation on the vehicle.
