there is nothing replacement/warranty about this block, this is an "In Plant" fix - P R O D U C T I O N

here's an engine & transmission from a Super Bee from Lynch Rd. 6 months earlier, the middle three numbers on the engine were "RE-STAMPED" with the same characters used for the VIN on the OP's engine

did the OP ever track down the matching Road Runner

I've know of the engine for probably about 40 years
It never had any kind of number swapping story that followed it.
I was just curious about what it had came out of and I guess the 70 road runner ?
looks like a match ..

I haven't contacted that guy- don't know if I want the aggravation?
The engine seems to be in very good shape with no cracks or damage anywhere
I was figuring on disassembly and check everything and reassemble and drop into the 65

This is not a perfect world when it comes to engine stampings,casting date is 9-69 !
