What cam do you guys choose? I have the 440 do you guys prefer the "xtreme energy" cams for certain reasons or the "high energy" cams for other reasons. It's just for a stock 440, iron heads, maybe headers, 750 dp holley carb, auto trans, 3:55 gear, power brakes conversion kit. Whats the main difference in these cams? basicly lift . How do they trans late into power/performance/idle. Which one's are more street friendly. Thanks Jay

the main difference between extreme energy and high energy cams is ramp speed and lift. with stock heads comp cams magnum replacement, #21-305-4, or the extreme xe268 would work fine. keep in mind that maximum lift should be .490 for safe retainer to guide clearance on stock heads.
