A couple of weeks ago I did one of those what will it run ?? Now I know kinda . Went to VMP this past weekend and only got 3 hits on the boat. Backed out of the trailer and ran a new best of 6.59 @103. I was hoping to get some 1/4 mile passes but the track was running 1/8 all day. Anyway that is with a set of Indy heads I bought from a fellow member here with Larry Smith out of NC porting them. With a little messing I think I can get my 3500 lb boat in the 40s. All motor setup small block . Just wanted to brag on it a little. LOL

You did good bowup
Which Indy heads did you use?
I'm going to be building a pump gas 360 3.75 stroker motor later this year and I' haven't look into which after market heads for those motors are good and which ones aren't worth buying help
Thanks in advance for any help on this thumbs

Thanks Cab , been a while since we talked. How you been ??
Anyway it has the Indy 360-1s that were pretty stock when I got them. Had a good guy port them but don't have the numbers . I have a bunch of cubic inch 422 on an old X block. Indy Intake and small 1.5/8 -1 3/4 TTI headers. Mild solid roller .642 lift. Biggs 950 HP carb Nothing really fancy but it seems to be making around 650 or so hp.

Nice going as that's nice #'s. I see Larry Smith post pics on Facebook of his work all the time and it looks like he does great work. And it sounds like your heads done by him are working good. Ron

Thanks Ron , Your car keeps rolling too. That big girl really moves. Street driven 10.70 car is no slouch.
Larry is an ex Nascar head porter from way back. He really is a good guy. I hope to get my junk to the track again pretty soon and maybe mess with some jetting and timing a little.

Very nice!

I got the pan and header back on my 434 yesterday and will finish the steering linkage today. Once the valves are checked it'll be ready to go and hopefully get that 6.3X time slip.

Thanks , Yes Larry is a really nice guy. I spoke with a few great guys on here but a good friend told me that Larry was a heck of a head porter. Then I made a new friend of him too.

Man I would love to get back down there for a race or two. I loved that St Patrick’s Day race put on by Micheal Beard and Loose Rocker. Meet some very nice guys there
