You need to find a Mopar 337 intake. Post a parts wanted ad, maybe someone has one that they don't need.

I think one of the Mopar intakes is the lowest single plane you'll find. The number 334 comes to mind for some reason. There's also the Indy dual plane for MW heads - it should be pretty close to stock height.

Here is an interesting link on aftermarket intakes and running an air grabber hood on a 70 Road Runner

Something to keep in mind with regards to the MP 337 intake is the carb pad angle isn’t “corrected”.
The carb pad is parallel to the crank, so in a regular vehicle that has the engine tipped back some....... the carb will be too.

I don’t recall how much different the carb pad heights are between the 337 and the Indy 2D, but the 2D does have the carb pad angle corrected.

Not sure what your over all goal is, and what compromises you're willing to make, if any.

You posted about the Holley Street Dominator earlier and porting to Max Wedge port window. It does not have to be MW size to work. If this is a street deal, and your already making some performance compromises, the SD is still an option. Porting it, but not necessarily to MW size will probably support a true 650 hp. Unported they'll go 600 hp easy.

The Indy 2D is 1.5" taller than stock.

If its a race car and you need to support 700 hp, the 337 is likely your only option, and you'll still have fitment issues. Or lose the grabber hood.
