Hello, looking at putting a FITECH on my 470 which is running a Edelbrock RPM Performer intake. I have read the dual plane is not the best way to go for these injection systems. Is anyone else running one on a similar intake without issues? Thanks in advance

I wouldn't run a Fitech. My son runs a Holley injection on a 440 RPM in this rig. He runs the heck out of it and has never had a problem over at least 3 years now. Almost every Fitech I have heard being installed has had some sort of issue.
I installed a Fitech on a 572 Hemi and it wouldn't control the timing. We had to send it back for repairs and I hear lots of issues from other installs as well.

I have FiTech on an Air Gap and no problems.

Facts are stubborn things.

If it was port injected the dual plane might not be the best choice.

Throttle body injection delivers the fuel to the combustion chamber the same way a carburetor does so what works for a carb, manifold wise works for TBI.

I have a Fitech on the Olds 455 in my '79 Trans Am. No complaints from me - replaced a Q-jet and running great.
