Narrowed E-body rear sway bar fitment?

I have a slightly narrowed Strange 60 rear using Dr. Diff’s 1” spring relocation shackles.... So, what would be the best solution to use a factory style rear sway bar? Is heating the Bar and bending the attach points inward an inch and a half an idea? Are the factory B-Body bars Narrower than the E-body bars? I am not liking the aftermarket designs that bolt to the axle and they would Possibly create an issue with my 3” exhaust...... anybody solved this problem before? TIA... TBF

I used the rear sway bar from Firm Feel. It fit as designed, in spite of using the same Dr Diff inset hanger solution. You can almost see the alignment of the links here.
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda #'s 440-6(block in storage)currently 493" 6 pack, Shaker, 5 speed Passon, 4.10's 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 408 Magnum EFI with 4 speed automatic overdrive, 3800 stall lock-up converter and 4.30's (closest thing to an automatic 5 speed going)

I have a stock E body rear sway bar on my 70 challenger with Dr. Diff's offset rear hangers and a B body Dana 60. I DO NOT have 3 inch exhaust (though it is Accurate LTD's 2.5 inch). The exhaust is configured as stock and fit easily around everything. There's no need to heat the bar, just put it in a press and bend it. ( compare distance between sway bar eyelets and mounted sway bar end link plates on the springs to find total amount of bend needed, half it, mark the center of the bar, measure out to the eyelet, then bend each side the same amount,) jess
Yeah, it's hopped up to over 160...

Another twist I am dealing with is I have he SSBC rear disk brakes and the caliper sticks out quite a bit..... I’m also trying to squeeze in some 315/35-17 sticky mickeys so I am going to get those tires mounted up and see what I got... it’s gonna be tight but I think it might work!

Ok great, of course the pic is upside down and I have no idea how to fix it.....I think I can “clock” the calipers and get them out of the way....

That’s a great idea..... unfortunately, I have a disc brake caliper right in the way so I will have to bend the bar.....

Call Firm Feel and tell them what you want to do and get a recommendation. I believe the B body sway bar is what you want to go with using the offset hangers and B body rear (assuming the B-body leaf spring mounting pad to pad width, but call and see if they verify.
Or you could spend the same amount of money on and E body bar, bend it all up, find out that it won't fit with your brake calipers, try to return the bent and scratched up bar, find out you can't return it, end up making some whacked out S curve looking end links, be not happy that they don't look remotely stock, find out they also deflect force outward on the sway bar and side load bushings, finally end up calling g Firm Feel and getting a recommendation for a bar that will work like you want, spend the cost of a new sway bar again.

It been too many years now, but I believe I used a B-Body bar on mine. It does fit with my Dr Diff Econo rear disc kit.
