I have a set of P4529993 stage V cast iron heads for a RB block. According to manufacture info these require a special offset intake rocker. Does anyone in group happen to have any info on this special rocker arm? I am in search of a set. I don;t know what the difference in these special offset rockers vs. the stock ones.

those rockers were made by crane. the stage v's I have are clearance around the intake port and didn't really need the offset rockers. I did use the offset rockers though with poor results. the fulcrum centerline on the offsets I have are all in different positions which would wear the intake guides quickly. I couldn't set up proper geometry with them.

contact 440 source, they might have rockers that provide more clearance.

another thing to look at is valve stem clearance in the guide. mine were very loose from the factory.

Thanx for your reply. How old are the heads you have? I have to take a closer look at mine. So,you ended up using the standard intake rocker arms instead of the Crane?

i bought mine in the mid '90's. all I used with them was the crane gold offset 1.5 rocker, but I could have used the standard rocker. I used the offset because it was recommended; big mistake. there's two versions of the stage v; early has no heat crossover and later does. mine have the heat crossover.
